Day Trips

One of the advantages of living in Clark County is the incredible day-trip potential. Within a drive of 30 minutes is downtown Portland, with its entertainment, shopping, museums, restaurants and sports, including the NBA Trail Blazers and other pro teams. Within 45 minutes is the magnificent Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Less than two hours away are ocean beaches, the Cascade Mountains, the Mount Hood ski areas and Oregon wine country. Not much farther is Mount St. Helens, the only Cascade Range volcano to erupt since 1880.
