Parks & Trails: Vancouver Lake Park

Stretching 2.5 miles along the west shore of Vancouver Lake, and encompassing 234 acres, Vancouver Lake Park offers visitors a wide array of activities, including picnicking, swimming, wind-surfing, and volleyball. The park also hosts a number of high school- and collegiate-level rowing competitions each year, and is a great place for beginners to learn the craft as well. On clear sunny days, visitors can enjoy views of Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, and Mt. St. Helens, and take in the natural splendor of the Pacific Northwest.
