Yacolt, the smallest incorporated town in the county, plus Amboy and Chelatchie are small, bucolic and easy-going communities born in logging's heyday. Nestled at the edge of the Cascade Range, they are on—or near—a county-designated scenic drive. Visitors are also attracted to this picturesque area by the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad and the annual Amboy Territorial Days.
