La Center

With the East Fork of the Lewis River flowing through town, La Center was once a hub of business and navigation for the region. Just off Interstate 5 and only 15 miles from Vancouver, La Center and its Cowlitz County neighbor, Woodland, are increasingly popular residential areas. Annual festivals include La Center's Our Days and Woodland's Planters Days.
