CreditsWhile the conceptualization, design, content development, and coding for this site were undertaken by students of the DTC Program at Washington State University Vancouver, and overseen by Dr. Dene Grigar, their professor, others also contributed to the development of this site. We would like to thank the Branding Committee for its help and guidance: Ed Lynch, Chairman Emeritus, Ginger Metcalf, Executive Director, and Kathy Davis, Executive Assistant, Identity Clark County; Kim Capeloto, President and CEO, Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce; Bill Barron, Clark County Administrator, Board of Clark County Commissioners; and Eric Holmes, Economic Development Director, City of Vancouver, WA. Principal editing was undertaken by Gregg Herrington. Herrington is a Clark County native and graduate of Clark College and the University of Washington. He was a journalist for 40 years—seven with The Associated Press and 35 with The Columbian in a variety of editing and writing roles. He left the newspaper in 2008 amid its downsizing and was hired by Ed Lynch to head the writing and editing for this project. Herrington subsequently was hired as communications director for the Battle Ground School District. Principal photographer for the site was Ed Vidinghoff of Vidinghoff Photography, Vancouver, WA. Ed served as a newspaper photographer and photo editor for The Columbian and The Oregonian during the 1980's. Since 1991 he has been freelancing in the SW Washington and Portland areas. Prior to moving to the area in 1980, Vidinghoff was a staff photographer and a director of photography at several Midwest daily and weekly newspapers.
